—Saturday, April 5, 2025: Sistersville (WV) Opera Presents: Marvelous! starring Merissa Beddows. Performance in the historic Gaslight Theater; artwork projected in the opera showcased in the adjoining Gold Derrick Gallery immediately after the show.
The conductor of Marvelous, Mr. Jack Brink, has started an excellent series of links to Marvelous information here. The students of the Carnegie-Mellon School of Music in Pittsburgh are currently rehearsing the work.
—Merissa Beddows received a $5000 grant from our alma mater, the Curtis Institute of Music, towards the production of Marvelous (2/24). Here’s an article on the grant :
